Frequently asked questions

Do I need to prepare anything before my first session?

Nothing at all. Just show up in a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable talking. That's it.


Is everything I share confidential?

Yes, completely. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential. The only exception is if there's an immediate risk of harm to you or someone else, this is a standard ethical obligation for all mental health professionals.


I don't have a 'serious' problem. Is therapy still for me?

Absolutely. You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. Many of my clients come because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just want to understand themselves better. Therapy is as much about growth as it is about healing.


What issues do you work with?

I work with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, life transitions and personal growth.


How do online sessions work technically?

You'll receive a video call link before your appointment. All you need is a phone or laptop with a camera and a stable internet connection. It works just like a video call on Google Meet or Zoom.


Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. Research consistently shows that online video therapy produces equivalent outcomes to face-to-face therapy for conditions like anxiety, depression and stress.


Can I cancel or reschedule a session?

Yes. I just ask for at least 24 hours' notice so the slot can be offered to someone else who may need it.
